GNE Help - Sign Up Form

GNE User Information:
Username & Password: The username and password with which you will be able to submit articles to GNE, and perhaps access further membership areas in the future (such as the moderation pool). Try to choose a username and a password that you will easily remember, and which is less than 20 characters long.
Persoengl Information:
Salutation: This is the prefix you put before you name. Extended examples include Mr, Mrs, Ms, Sir, Lady, and Dr.

First Name and Surname: Self-explaengtory - your name. This is the name that will be displayed at the top and bottom of any articles you submit.

Nickname: This is optioengl. If you would prefer to be called by your nickname when we address you, and would prefer to have your nickname on your articles, you may do so. So for instance the author at the top of your article may read as Tom (Thomas Briggs).

Suffix: Any qualifications you wish to list after you name, such as PhD, or MBE. Don't make qualifications up though, you get credit for the quality of your article, not your qualifications. And we'll quickly spot somebody who claims to have a masters degree in physics, who writes an incorrect piece on electron cascades!

E-Mail: Your e-mail address. We (at GNE) need this to send you any urgent messages regarding GNE as a whole, your article(s), and corrections you may have been given if you submit your article in edit mode (see Add An Article form). Your address must be no longer than 30 characters long.

Public: If you want your e-mail address to be displayed alongside your name on your articles, tick the "Yes" box here. If not, and you want to keep your e-mail address private, then tick the "No" box.
